- Real bamboo weave, cast in resin — a translucent body with visible bamboo matting suspended inside; light passes through.
- Green-white-green side band — clean, classic, and beautifully aligned when racked.
- Ivory faces with red 萬 characters — plus corner numerals for easy reading.
- Hand-painted leaf-and-blossom wreaths — fine sage-green framing around every number tile.
- Red bloom jokers with gold star — a simple, elegant signature.
- Floral tiles — magenta chrysanthemums and soft green sprigs.
- Substantial, cool hand feel — dense pieces, smooth rounded edges, a deep satisfying click.
- Changes with the light — matte and mossy in shadow, luminous green in sun.
