PALORA PRACTICE LAB · LEARN BY DOING
Get a feel for the game.
Meet the tiles, make your first exchange, and explore what a Joker can do. Click or tap to play; every control also works with a keyboard.
These are beginner drills with schematic tile artwork, not a full game or robot opponent. No annual card hands are reproduced. Practice progress lasts until this page is reloaded; no account is needed.
The interactive drills are loading. If they do not appear, enable JavaScript or read the beginner guide.
01 · EYE FOR A TILE
Can you name it?
Look at the symbol and count its markings. Choose a name, then move to the next tile. Eight challenges appear in a new order each time.
02 · CHOOSE, PASS, RECEIVE
Your first Charleston.
Tap three tiles on your rack, then pass them in the indicated direction. The practice table sends three tiles back. Complete Right → Across → Left.
Any three non-Joker tiles are accepted: this drill checks a legal exchange, not the best strategic choice. It models the first Charleston with visible rack selections; blind passes, the optional second Charleston and courtesy passes are not simulated.
03 · FIND THE RIGHT FIT
Where can the Joker go?
Choose a group to try filling its final slot with the Joker. See whether it fits, and why. Explore all six groups.
